Saudi Arabia has introduced the Saudi Package Visa, allowing eligible travellers to book flights, hotels and their tourist visa in one seamless travel package.

RIYADH: Planning a trip to Saudi Arabia is about to get much easier. The Kingdom has launched the Saudi Package Visa, a new pilot programme that lets eligible visitors book their flights, hotel and tourist visa together through approved travel providers, removing the need for separate applications.

Instead of arranging every part of the journey individually, travellers can now choose a single package that includes return flights, accommodation at licensed hotels and an electronic tourist visa. Many packages will also offer optional tours, events and local experiences, making it easier to organise an entire holiday in one place.

The initiative is being rolled out in selected international markets through approved travel and tourism companies. It has been developed in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior and the Insurance Authority as part of Saudi Arabia’s wider effort to modernise its tourism sector.

The Saudi Package Visa joins the Kingdom’s growing range of visitor entry options, including the tourist e-Visa, visa on arrival and Stopover Transit Visa. Officials say these programmes helped Saudi Arabia attract more than 29 million international visitors in 2025, supporting the country’s Vision 2030 goal of becoming a leading global tourism destination.

The programme is also expected to benefit travel companies by allowing them to build complete holiday packages that encourage longer stays and offer a smoother customer experience. To participate, providers must meet strict requirements, including operating digital booking platforms and offering round-the-clock customer support.

Saudi Arabia has spent the past few years making travel to the Kingdom faster and more convenient as it opens its doors to more international visitors. By bringing visas, flights and accommodation together in one booking, the Saudi Package Visa aims to remove one of the biggest hassles of international travel while making it easier for visitors to explore the country’s growing range of cultural, historical and leisure attractions.
