Rumor Roundup (Oct. 21, 2026): War Games plans, Iyo Sky title match, Jordynne Grace return, more!

Lead Rumor: War Games plans

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw seemed to make clear exactly what direction WWE is going with Survivor Series and this year’s men’s War Games match. Now, Dave Meltzer has said on Wrestling Observer Radio that it is indeed so.

The Bloodline will be taking on The 946.

It makes sense, considering Carmelo Hayes joined The 946 to give them a group of four men while Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa have made up to give Bloodline four. No word just yet on whether or not they’ll be going with four or a fifth will get involved on both sides.

But at least it seems to be locked in that this is where they are going. Let’s hope the match can live up to how hype their first major showdown was.

Other rumors floating around

• According to the Observer, WWE is looking at Mexican talent differently in the wake of the worldwide success of Penta challenging Roman Reigns for the world heavyweight championship in Mexico City.
• Another from Meltzer: He speculated that Iyo Sky will be getting an Intercontinental title match against Raquel Rodriguez in the very near future.
• PW Insider Elite says Michael Cole missed Friday Night SmackDown this past week because he was on vacation.
• Fightful Select notes there were “tentative creative plans” set up for Jordynne Grace in September, with a working plan to start teasing a team up with Ivy Nile.
• Bryan Alvarez notes that Dralistico’s AEW deal expires in December and presumably he wants out but Rush’s visa is expired and it won’t get settled until the new year. He’s apparently happy being with the promotion.
