The Rivers State Government is currently demolishing the state House of Assembly complex to begin renovation work on the complex.

Recall that earlier in October, the Assembly quarters was set ablaze by arsonists yet to be identified and arrested, following the rumors of an impending impeachment of the State Governor, Sim Fubara.
