Ride into the Year of the Horse with Christian blessings for your family and friends

The Chinese New Year is upon us.

This year being the Year of the Horse, expect plenty of horseplay (pun intended) with festive greetings that ride on the word 马 (horse) because the word is used in many Chinese phrases that denote speed, success, strength and nobility.

For believers, the horse is a particularly important symbol in the Bible. It is used to depict military might (Psalm 20:7), God’s majesty (Job 39:19-25) and divine judgement (Revelation 6).

As we usher in the Year of the Fire Horse, here are some horse-inspired and biblical blessings to speak to one another.
