About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Scientist to join our team on a contract basis.

You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and data-driven solutions for AI products.

This role requires strong expertise in data analysis, algorithm development, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to prepare for analysis.
• Develop machine learning models and algorithms to address business needs.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Build, test, and optimize predictive and prescriptive models using tools like Python, R, or similar frameworks.
• Implement algorithms in production environments in collaboration with engineers.
• Monitor and refine models to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Work closely with data engineers, machine learning engineers, and product managers to integrate models into the AI product.
• Translate complex findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Document processes, methodologies, and results for transparency and reproducibility.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI and machine learning to improve current models and approaches.
• Identify opportunities for data-driven solutions within the product roadmap.
• Commit to working a minimum of 6 hours daily.
• Log work hours and tasks using time-tracking tools for transparency.
• Deliver milestones and updates on time, ensuring quality results.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Julia, and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, or Seaborn).
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing tools and pipeline management.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate technical results effectively to non-technical audiences.
