A development advocate, Kashim Musa Tumsah, has set up feeding points across Yobe State where thousands of Muslims observing the Ramadan fast can break their fast each day.

The feeding points have been strategically located in all three Senatorial zones of the state, with those in Zone ‘A’ situated in Damaturu, Gujba, Gaidam, and Dapchi.

In Zone ‘B’, people are fed in Potiskum, Fika, and Nangere, while Zone ‘C’ has Gashua and Nguru serving as the feeding centres.

Tumsah also established mobile feeding services that deliver meals and water in takeaway packs. These are shared with hundreds of the needy across targeted local government areas and nearby suburbs, helping them break their fast with dignity and comfort.

This is in addition to distributing thousands of bags of rice and cartons of spaghetti in phases to individuals, groups, and associations just before the start of the Ramadan fast.

KMT, as Tumsah is widely recognised, has been supporting communities across various fields for over 20 years and is under pressure from his growing admirers to run for governor in the state in 2027.

His interventions cover all sectors, including healthcare, education, agriculture, skills development, the provision of solar-powered boreholes and street lighting, and rural feeder roads to boost trade and economic growth among communities.
