Did you know that the 2022 men's World Cup in Qatar will be the last to feature 32 teams, and that a Supercomputer has predicted Brazil as the winner of Qatar 2022 World Cup trophy ahead of quarter-finals?

The 2022 men's World Cup in Qatar will be the last to feature 32 teams before the field expands to 48 teams for the 2026 World Cup. The FIFA men's World Cup has involved 32 teams for the last six editions, since France 1998.

Thirty-one (31) other countries joined host nation Qatar at the tournament after they have earned a ticket through regional qualifying matches. Each region was provided a set number of qualifying berths by world governing body FIFA, which organizes the World Cup:

The 32 participating teams at the FIFA 2022 men's World Cup are: Qatar, Germany, Denmark, Brazil, France, Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Serbia, England, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Argentina, Iran, Korea Republic, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Ecuador, Uruguay, Canada, Ghana, Senegal, Portugal, Poland, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon, USA, Mexico, Wales, and Costa Rica.

The above teams were grouped into eight with four teams making up each group as follows: GROUP A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands. GROUP B: England, Iran, USA, Wales. GROUP C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland. GROUP D: France, Australia, Denmark, Tunisia GROUP E: Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, Japan. GROUP F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia. GROUP G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon! and GROUP H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, Korea Republic

According to Sporting Life, a supercomputer predicted that France will beat England in their 2022 World Cup quarter-final clash on Saturday. That will see the defending champions set up a semi-final clash against Portugal, who are backed to beat Morocco.

On the other side of the draw, Argentina are predicted to see off Holland, with Brazil edging out Croatia. That would result in a mouth-watering Superclasico semi-final. And it’s the five-time World Cup champions that will apparently do the job against Lionel Messi and co to reach the final.

On the other side of the draw, Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to crash out with Portugal in their semi against France. The supercomputer reckons that Kylian Mbappe will face off against Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Neymar for the top prize. But it will be Brazil celebrating come the final whistle with victory over Les Bleus.

The final for the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be held in Lusail Iconic Stadium, which has a capacity of 80,000, the biggest stadium built by Qatar for the tournament.
