The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced an alternative login link following widespread login issues on its job portal.

For password resets, applicants can contact the PSC Call Centre at +254 20 4865000 for assistance.

“Experiencing any login issues with the PSC Job Portal? Kindly use this link: https://pscims.publicservice.go.ke/jobs/loginPage.aspx,” read part of the statement.

“For Password reset: Call us via PSC Call Centre: +254 20 4865000 for assistance.”

Job applicants also took to social media to voice their frustration and raise concerns after repeatedly failing to log in to the website, citing issues with both usernames and passwords.

An applicant, @NseroThomas, requested assistance, stating:

“Kindly assist. I have tried calling the number multiple times, but it has not been answered. Please also check your DM.”

This came at a time when the commission had started conducting interviews for the 8th cohort of the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP).

On December 1, the Commission urged graduates who had applied for the internship to check their portals to confirm their shortlisting.

The PSC stated that it had shortlisted only 13,117 applicants and that interviews had already started.

“Selection interviews began on Monday, 1st December 2025, from among the 13,117 candidates who were shortlisted out of the 35,659 who applied for the advertised positions. If you had applied, kindly check your portal,” PSC said.

Additionally, the commission stated that the interview details were available on each candidate’s PSC Jobs Portal, and all shortlisted applicants have already been notified via official SMS alerts.

PSC also said it has made telephone interviews available to applicants in remote areas who may face logistical challenges in reaching the centres.

“The recruitment exercise is conducted in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism, fairness, merit, transparency, and equal opportunity as required by the Public Service Commission Act, 2017. All shortlisted candidates have been notified through official SMS alerts,” read part of the statement.
