Premier League boss hails Frank Onyeka after first goal

Frank Onyeka has earned the praise of the boss after he finally opened his goals’ account in the Premier League at the weekend.

Onyeka has not scored a goal since he made his Premier League debut for Brentford in a 2-0 win over Arsenal in August 2021 until Saturday against Sheffield United.

The Super Eagles midfield enforcer netted late on after he was introduced as an added-time substitute for Matthias Janssen.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank was obviously delighted by Onyeka’s goal for ‘The Bees’.

“I’m so happy for Frank, he deserved that, so happy. He came on and was part of deciding it,” Thomas Frank told the club’s official website.

Onyeka’s goal helped Brentford to claim their first win in 10 consecutive Premier League games.
