But every brand has its Achilles heel, and for the German sports car manufacturer, it could be cylinder bore scoring. A recent teardown video of the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that came from an early first-generation Macan shows significant damage to the engine's cylinder walls, and despite commendably little wear anywhere else on the engine, that problem's enough to warrant a pricey rebuild.
