A fire incident in Elekahia, a densely populated area in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Friday, has rendered many persons homeless. 

Our correspondent who visited the scene gathered that the fire which started about 8:30 a.m was caused by a kerosene explosion. Goods and properties reportedly worth millions were lost in the inferno.
