Oversized Eating Influencer Liangzi Rescued After Collapsing During Mountain Hiking Challenge

Popular Chinese eating influencer Liangzi, also known as Li Zhanliang, has been rescued after collapsing during a hiking challenge on Mount Emei in Sichuan Province, China.

The 33-year-old, who is widely known for his excessive eating content on social media, reportedly attempted the challenging climb despite weighing approximately 27 stone (about 171 kg).

According to reports, Liangzi became seriously ill during the hike after suffering from extreme exhaustion and oxygen shortage.

He reportedly collapsed about one kilometre from his intended destination, near the 2,800-metre elevation mark, and lost consciousness.
After Liangzi failed to complete the hike, his family and friends reportedly raised the alarm, prompting emergency responders to begin a rescue operation.

Rescue personnel located the unconscious influencer and transported him down the mountain on a stretcher before taking him to safety for medical attention.
