The classy nuptials of Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi topped the most expensive weddings of 2025 with a $15 million price tag. The 3-city understated show-stopping ceremonies trailed the union of Jeff Bezos of Amazon which reportedly gulped $48 to $56 million!

Temiloluwa Otedola and Oluwatosin Ajibade began their matrimonial journey in Monte Carlo (Monaco) on May 9 with a civil ceremony. They raised their game with a traditional engagement shindig in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) on July 5. And topped it with a church, reception and after-party on August 8 in Reykjavik, Morsfellsbaer and Hvammsvik (Iceland).

The multi-city ceremonies—which paraded John Legend on the piano at the Iceland reception and King Sunny Ade performing at the traditional engagement in Dubai—showed us how money is deployed to good use. High elegance pervaded the events uniting the Ajibades who began their relationship in 2017.

The attires for the events—from some of the world’s best designers and couturier—were over a dozen apiece. Stylists and fashion leaders have praised the choice of ensembles to high heavens.

And those who curate class and taste and all the elements that whisper elegance give the ceremonies high scores.

Africa’s richest man and President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, led Femi Otedola’s friends to the events in United Arab Emirates and Iceland. And we counted Forbes listed billionaire Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu of BUA Group among the creme de la creme at the private events.

Joined by his brothers and sisters, Femi Otedola—who bought two villas on the same street in Dubai ahead of the nuptials—and his wife Nana ensured everything was prim and proper.

They flew in stylists and make up artists, DJs and comperes, decorators and event planners, musicians and marquees for the heart-thumping ceremonies in three cities.

The top wedding of 2025 is Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s unforgettable extravaganza in Venice (Italy) from June 26–28. It reportedly gulped $48 to $56 million.
