Osimhen fantastic for Liverpool says Premier League legend

Victor Osimhen has been linked with various top clubs across Europe, but for Liverpool defender Steve Nicol the Napoli striker will be a fantastic replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Salah has remained a top transfer target for the big-spending Saudi Arabian league and could soon quit the Anfield giants.

“The fact that Salah will leave, regardless of whether it will be this year or next, Osimhen? I think he would be fantastic for Liverpool,” Nicol told ESPN

“In midfield we have just signed Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai, (Wataru) Endo has proved incredible, you need someone who runs all day and gives it (the ball) to MacAllister and Szoboszlai.”

Osimhen, 25, has proved himself in the Italian Serie A and has made it known he wishes for a fresh challenge.

He has already been linked with several Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal.
