Oscar Sudi Wins Hearts After Helping Paralyzed Man Bedridden for 25 Years

Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has come to the aid of Andrea, a man who has been bedridden for nearly 25 years, by providing him with an electric wheelchair and medical support.

In a social media post shared on May 7, Sudi said that after speaking to Andrea, he decided to step in and help by buying him an electric wheelchair, as he has been paralysed and bedridden for over two decades.

Sudi further revealed that he enrolled the man in SHA, which will help him access treatment and therapy. In addition to supporting the man individually, Oscar Sudi said he will cover his children’s school fees as well as help his eldest son secure a job that will enable him to support the family.

“I’ve bought him an electric wheelchair after 25 years confined to bed, and enrolled him in SHA for treatment and therapy. I’m also covering his children’s school fees and working to get his eldest son a job so he can support the family,” Oscar Sudi said.

That is not all. Sudi said he will also help improve Andrea’s home and has already provided basic supplies to cater for his upkeep. The lawmaker expressed gratitude for being able to support the 62-year-old man, who has been bedridden and unable to walk for 25 years due to his condition.

“We’re improving his home, and I’ve already provided basic supplies for his upkeep. It brings me joy to share what I can with this 62-year-old father who has been paralyzed and bedridden for 25 years,” Oscar Sudi added.

On social media, Oscar Sudi’s post has since gone viral, sparking reactions among netizens. Most social media users praised the lawmaker for his kind gesture in helping Andrea and his family.
