A prospective member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has gone viral after expressing frustration over being posted to Kano State for the mandatory national service programme.

In a video circulating online, the aspiring corps member questioned the decision to deploy him from Owerri to Kano, arguing that the posting placed him far from home.

She also raised concerns about insecurity, stating that fears over safety and kidnapping influenced his reluctance to participate in the deployment.

“NYSC called me but I won’t be going, tell me why you’re posting me to Kano state out of all the 36 states, I’m staying in owerri you’re taking me to Kano with the whole insecurity not even a close by state, Did my father say he has 50M naira for ransom”
