The Super Falcons of Nigeria secured a place against Cameroon in the next round of the 2024 Olympic qualifying round following a 4-nil victory against Ethiopia at the MKO Abiola Stadium

Atletico Femeni forward, Rasheedat Ajibade, emphasizes that the Super Falcons of Nigeria still have unfinished business as they prepare to take on Cameroon, Soccernet.ng reports.

After securing an impressive victory against Uganda at the Stade de la Reunification, the Indomitable Lionesses are scheduled to face the Super Falcons in the next round of Olympic qualifiers.

Ajibade, who captained the Super Falcons in their doubleheader against the Lucy of Ethiopia, played a vital role for Justine Magudu’s squad.

The 23-year-old forward scored a powerful strike to secure a 1-1 draw for Nigeria in Ethiopia and contributed two goals in their 4-0 victory over the Lucy girls at the MKO Abiola Stadium.

Taking to her social media platform, Ajibade expressed gratitude for the win and emphasized that the Super Falcons’ mission to secure a 2024 Olympic qualifiers ticket is far from complete.

“Grateful for the win, [but] Job not done. On to the next [game]. Thank you Abuja, thank you our favorite people. To God be all the Glory,” she wrote on her Instagram feed.

As it currently stands, the Super Falcons of Nigeria are scheduled to face the Indomitable Lionesses in February 2024, with a return leg to be played in Nigeria on February 28.
