A non-verbal autistic girl who vanished from her grandmother’s farm has been safely found alive after three terrifying days.

The young girl, identified as Alice Maciel Lacerda Lisboa, was staying at her grandmother’s farm when she quietly slipped out through the back door. It happened on January 29, 2026, while her grandmother was momentarily distracted making a bank transfer online. By the time she looked up, Alice was gone.

Panic set in immediately. The grandmother called for help, and soon a large search effort kicked off involving twelve people on the ground, plus drones scanning from above and sniffer dogs tracking scents through the area.
