Nnadozie delighted after winning third CAF Women’s goalkeeper of the year award

Chiamaka Nnadozie could not hide excitement after being named the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year at the 2025 CAF Awards.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday night in Rabat, Morocco, where the Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper claimed the honour for the third consecutive year. 

Nnadozie won the inaugural award in 2023 and successfully defended it in 2024 before securing her third crown this year.

The 24-year-old beat Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to the prestigious accolade.

“Winning this award for the third time is huge for my career. I thank all the academies that I have played for,” the former Paris FC shot-stopper said after receiving the award.
