Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the new ministerial nominees of President Bola Tinubu as excellent choices.

Naija News reported that Tinubu on Wednesday transmitted an additional 19 list of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.

Reacting in a post via his Twitter handle on Thursday, Fani-Kayode congratulated all the nominees who were both on the first and second list and wished them the best in their service to the nation.

The former minister asked Nigerians to pray for the ministerial nominees to succeed in their endeavours as they make difficult choices for the nation and assist President Bola Tinubu.

He wrote: “Congratulations to all those in both the first and second Ministerial lists of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT).

“They are all excellent choices and I wish them the very best in their service to our great nation.

“I was a Minister 16 years ago and I know how taxing and challenging it can be.

“We must remember them in our prayers and ask God to guide them in all their endeavours as they make difficult choices for our nation and assist Mr. President.

“God will use them to take our great nation to a higher level.”

Following the release of the first batch of the ministerial list by the Senate, Fani-Kayode has been a subject of mockery on social media.

The ex-minister was also excluded from the supplementary list, and he is yet to secure any appointment from the current administration, considering his role during the presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
