MVP’s second match in AEW will happen at All Out

After Ricochet & GOA cost The Hurt Syndicate the AEW Tag titles at Forbidden Door (in a plot that apparently involved calling immigration officials in the United Kingdom about Montell Vontavious Porter’s criminal record), it became clear the two groups were on a collision course (pun semi-intended).

On the Sept. 3 Dynamite, that officially led to a trios match at All Out.

Ricochet and company demanded the match in a promo early on the show…

… and MVP accepted on behalf of Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin later, revealing that he’ll lace up his boots for only the second time in his AEW career to take on Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona on Sept. 20 in Toronto.

AEW also made Mercedes Moné vs. Riho for the TBS title official for Toronto. Those matches join Adam Copeland & Christian Cage vs. FTR as the only things officially set for AEW’s PPV debut on HBO Max.
