MULTICHIOCE CUSTOMERS TO PAY MORE FOR DStv, GOTV

Subscription prices for using DStv and GoTV broadcast packages have been reviewed upwards.

This was announced after Multichoice, provider of the services declared that it lost $72m in its financial statement for the third quarter of the year, 2023.

The listed review reflected a 20 per cent per cent hike in the company’s packages across the board.

Before the review, subscribers of DStv Premium package were paying N24,500, but now, they will have to pay N29,500, and this represented a 20.4 per cent increase.

For those using DStv Compact+, they will pay N19,800 and no more N16, 600, reflecting an increase by 19.2 per cent.

Users of the Compact package, with the increase by 19 per cent, will have to pay N12,500 and no more N10,500.

Price for DStv Comfam package moved up by 19.2 per cent from N6,200 to N7,400. 

For GOtv packages of; the Supa pack, the highest bouquet, that was for N6,400 will now be served for N7,600. 

Max and Jolli packages that were N4,850 and N3,300 respectively also have new prices of N5,700 and N3,950, respectively.

This will be the the second time within six months that the South African company, Multichoice, will be reviewing prices upward.
