A fun thing WWE has been doing, and all the other highlights from Raw this week right here. WWE, for as along as I can remember, at least, tends to find something that works and then beat it into the ground. You can’t really blame them for this, considering the business is, broadly speaking, about giving the fans what they want. If they like it, do more of it. Simple enough, right? To that end, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I’m still enjoying the long camera shots they’ve incorporated into weekly television. It feels like it happens at least once and maybe even more on every show now but you know what? It’s still pretty damn great. Take this week on Monday Night Raw, for example, when they followed Jey Uso to the back, where he was greeted by Sami Zayn, who was about to make his entrance for the main event Intercontinental championship match. The camera stayed with him the entire way, and it made for a great shot of a man amongst his people, the conquering hero

WWE, for as along as I can remember, at least, tends to find something that works and then beat it into the ground. You can’t really blame them for this, considering the business is, broadly speaking, about giving the fans what they want. If they like it, do more of it.

To that end, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I’m still enjoying the long camera shots they’ve incorporated into weekly television. It feels like it happens at least once and maybe even more on every show now but you know what? It’s still pretty damn great.

Take this week on Monday Night Raw, for example, when they followed Jey Uso to the back, where he was greeted by Sami Zayn, who was about to make his entrance for the main event Intercontinental championship match. The camera stayed with him the entire way, and it made for a great shot of a man amongst his people, the conquering hero returning home to bask in the joy of his success before meeting the next challenge.

I’m sure there will come a time that I find this all played out too but today is not that day and I sincerely hope this trend continues.
