Moniepoint CEO Tosin Eniolorunda Named to TIME100 Next 2026

Moniepoint co-founder and Group Chief Executive Officer Tosin Eniolorunda has been named to TIME100 Next 2026, the magazine’s annual list of emerging leaders it considers influential in shaping the future across industries.

The recognition puts the Nigerian fintech executive among the business and technology figures featured in this year’s selection. According to Moniepoint, Eniolorunda was recognised for his role in building financial infrastructure that has expanded access to financial services in Nigeria.

The recognition comes as Moniepoint has grown beyond its origins as a payments technology business. Founded in 2015, the company says it now serves more than 20 million businesses and individuals and operates an agency-banking network covering all 774 local government areas in Nigeria.

That reach gives the recognition a business context. Moniepoint’s operations span financial services used by businesses and individuals, while its physical agent network helps extend services beyond customers who rely exclusively on digital channels.

Eniolorunda’s inclusion also follows other recent recognition for the company and its leadership. Moniepoint co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Felix Ike was named to TIME’s Executives of the Year list for Tech and Data in September, while Moniepoint featured on TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies list in 2025.

Tony Elumelu, chairman of Heirs Holdings and founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, wrote the citation accompanying Eniolorunda’s TIME100 Next recognition, according to the company’s statement. Elumelu, who appeared on TIME’s main TIME100 list in 2020, praised Eniolorunda’s entrepreneurial journey.

TIME introduced TIME100 Next in 2019 to recognise emerging figures across fields including business, technology, politics, science, sport and culture. This year’s wider list also includes Kenyan social entrepreneur Wawira Njiru, founder of Food4Education.

Eniolorunda said the recognition belonged to Moniepoint’s team and the businesses and individuals using its services.

The recognition is a profile boost for one of Nigeria’s prominent fintech founders. Its longer-term significance will depend on how Moniepoint continues to develop the financial services and infrastructure behind the scale it reports.
