According to a WhatsApp chat circulating on the internet, Angel revealed that she had been married to Kess for three years, taking care of him and his family with her money. She recently found out that he was ch£ating on her with his roommate, Christy O, who was also a fellow housemate during the Level Up edition of the Big Brother Naija.

After their br£akup as a result of this incident, they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
