Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics to showcase Italy's Alpine venues

In the name of sustainability, organisers of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics are using a host of existing venues stretching between the Alpine ski resort of Cortina to the fashion capital of Milan in northern Lombardy. The Games open this Friday with a ceremony in Milan's San Siro stadium.
