Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Kallenius has confirmed that the all-electric C-Class and GLC-Class will touch down in the coming years, giving the Three-pointed Star the weapons it needs to take down the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, and more premium rivals, too. Due to arrive in 2026, the duo - tipped to go even further upmarket - will be based on the MB.EA architecture, unlike smaller models that will be underpinned by the MMA platform.
