The collectibles market was $294 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to $422.56 billion by 2030. So if you’re looking to cash in on fast-food nostalgia, here’s a list of 10 toys from Mickey D’s that could be worth a lot more than the price of a Happy Meal.

As a child, you may have squirreled away one or more of your old Happy Meal toys with no idea that it might someday be worth something. However, with interest running high, you might be able to sell or buy a piece of nostalgia with these 10 McDonald’s toys worth money. 

1. Disney “100 Years of Magic” Set

In 2002, two of the most iconic brands in the world came together to honor the 100th birthday of Walt Disney. Over several months, McDonald’s sold in its Happy Meals 100 figurines made for display on gold bases. A single figurine can go for $15, but an unopened manager edition set was listed for $7,000 on eBay in August 2025.

2. Ty Teenie Beanie Babies

Among vintage McDonald’s toys, Ty Teenie Beanie Babies stand out. In one of the fast-food chain’s most successful collaborations, it originally sold 10 different Beanie Babies starting in 1997, and Happy Meals sales doubled the next year. The original set of 12 Teenie Beanie Babies from 1998 was on sale on Etsy in August for $4,000.

3. Snoopy World Tour

In 1998 and 1999, McDonald’s capitalized on Charles M. Schulz’s iconic beagle. Snoopy initially appeared only in two Happy Meals series outside the U.S. — in Asia and New Zealand — with the first series being re-released in Europe in 1999. One of these toys can cost $6, while a full set is more than $100.

4. McDonald’s 110 Film Camera

If you’re looking for ’90s McDonald’s toys worth money, look no further than the McDonald’s 110 film camera, which is molded like a large box of McDonald’s fries. Not really even a toy (it actually takes photos on 110 format film), the camera was released in Europe in 1997. One sold on eBay in 2024 for  $2,225.

5. Halloween Boo Buckets

You can add a little retro swag to your Halloween celebration this year with one or all three of the Boo Buckets that McDonald’s debuted in 1986. The company brought them back sporadically in 2022, 2023 and 2024. The original McBoo, McPunk’n and McGoblin came in white, orange and green, respectively, and have sold online for about $25 to $100.

6. McFurby

The Furby craze swept the U.S. when the talking electronic toy was released in 1998. McDonald’s got in on the act, creating 80 McFurbys (10 sets of eight) for sale in Happy Meals in 1999 and 2000. McFurby returned in 2019 for the 40th anniversary of the Happy Meal. Etsy listed a set of 80 in mint condition for $900 in August 2025.

7. 101 Dalmatians

McDonald’s released its 101 Dalmatians toy alongside the live-action version of the Disney classic in 1996. With 101 dalmatians in various poses, the toy was a hit with children then, and the entire sealed collection is popular among adults now. A complete set can go for $99 or more.

8. Go Go Inspector Gadget

McDonald’s released Go Go Inspector Gadget in 1999 as a promotion of the movie “Inspector Gadget,” starring Matthew Broderick. Gadget is among the more rare McDonald’s toys because parts were distributed in eight separate Happy Meals to collect and assemble the 14-inch action figure. You may pay $40 to $50 for a complete Gadget online, and a mint condition package may be worth a lot more. 

9. Star Trek: The Motion Picture

You have several reasons to hunt down the McDonald’s “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” collectible. Along with the movie that came out in 1979, McDonald’s released five Happy Meal boxes that are works of art, illustrated with games and comic strips. The boxes themselves are collector items, and inside were several goodies: a ring, iron-ons, a bracelet, a game and a toy Starfleet communicator. The Star Trek Happy Meal was one of the first licensed products for McDonald’s, coming out during the debut year of the Happy Meal. A set of five empty boxes can go for nearly $50 on eBay.  

10. Super Mario Bros. 3

McDonald’s is known for capitalizing on trends, and the Super Mario Bros. 3 Happy Meal is one of the company’s best examples. Released in 1990 alongside the Nintendo Entertainment System game, the interactive toys featured Super Mario Bros. characters, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Goomba and Koopa Paratroopa, with spring-loaded jumping or pull-back racing. Some toys sold for as much $700, $800 and $980 in July and August 2025.

With vintage McDonald’s toys picking up steam as collectibles, and with McDonald’s introducing future collectibles in its new release of Lil McDonald’s toys (21 figurines that capture all that is McDonald’s in miniature), interest in finding valuable Happy Meal toys is rising.

While some McDonald’s toys are worth just a few dollars, others are going for hundreds or even thousands. That’s a considerable return on a prize that came free with a $1.10 meal in 1979. That same meal still costs only between $4.59 and $5.99 in South Florida, depending on the entree you choose.
