LoveSingapore’s Miracle Weekend (September 5-6) brings powerful testimonies from three drug addicts-turned-Pastors

Miracle Weekend takes place on September 5 and 6. The two-day event by LoveSingapore will take place at two churches and bring stories of transformation, healing and hope.

Come listen to the powerful testimonies of three speakers from three different countries. All of them are former gang members, drug addicts and souls that were once lost, but are now passionate preachers of the Gospel.

Pastor Don Wong (Singapore)

Ps Don is a former drug addict whose life was turned around by God. He is the founder of The New Charis Mission, a halfway house that supports inmates re-entering society. He also founded the Association of Christian Halfway Houses and the Unlabelled Run which has evolved into a movement of removing label from individuals who have been labelled by society. Ps Don most recently experienced the healing power of God, having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2023.

Pastor Lou Ming Ho or 劉民和牧師 (Taiwan)

Ps Lou was a drug addict in Hong Kong from the age of 15. After struggling with addiction for 10 years, he was put on a remote island with Christian caregivers from Operation Dawn, where he successfully quit cold turkey through prayer and perseverance. He joined Operation Dawn and set up Operation Dawn Taiwan in 1989 and has opened eight drug rehabilitation centres in six cities and counties in Taiwan.

Pastor Nam Quc Trung (Vietnam)

Ps Trung battled addiction for 16 years, spending 14 years in and out of prison. He is today a leader in the Restoration Ministry in Vietnam which helps addicts to transform their lives through the power of God. He leads the Light for a Path programme which holds evangelistic meetings to reach out to addicts throughout Vietnam. The programme is now employed in over 30 rehabilitation centres in North Vietnam and Hanoi, touching the lives of more than 10,000 people.

For those seeking a miracle

If you or anyone you know is seeking healing or breakthrough, whether from addiction, despair or physical illness, these testimonies will stir faith that no one is beyond redemption. No situation is beyond God’s power to heal.

The rallies will be conducted in English, Mandarin and Vietnamese, reaching across language communities and generations.

Alongside the main speakers, attendees can also expect special guest speakers lending their voices to the cause of hope, including Simonboy, Felicia Chin and Peter Yu.
