A loud explosion has occurred in a Jalingo neighborhood of Taraba State in the afternoon Monday but no casualty recorded.

According to some residents who confirmed the explosion they said the situation took everyone by surprise as several persons scamper for safety.

The eyewitness who spoke on grounds of anonymity, said the blasts occurred around A.T.C, TSU site, but not a bomb blast as many speculated.

Meanwhile, Police operatives have been drafted to the area to unravel the situation

However other residents say the incident maybe coming from a cooking gas cylinder belonging to a Lady who fried made food, but that no life was involved.
