Lincoln vs West Ham quick tips

Lincoln vs West Ham prediction

Both Lincoln and West Ham are looking to snap two-game streaks without a victory.

The Imps sit in 15th position in the Championship table, while the Hammers are in third after a turn around in form over the last two months.

You can look at West Ham’s current form two ways. Six matches undefeated and hold the best attacking record in the division (23 goals) or two matches without a win and need to find another level.

Perhaps both things can be true.

Lincoln have had a solid start to their return to the second tier after a 65 year-absence. They’ve collected 11 points from nine matches, recording away wins are Preston and Bristol City.

However, back-to-back defeats either side of the international break has them licking their wounds and now welcome the Hammers to town.

These two sides haven’t met in the league since the late 1950’s. West Ham have had some big wins on the road already and we’re backing another one in midweek.

Lincoln vs West Ham tips

Bowen’s goal-streak

Jarrod Bowen may have missed a crucial penalty in the 1-1 draw with QPR, the West Ham skipper has scored seven goals in six matches, including three game winners.

The 29-year-old does look a cut above the rest in the Championship and should get plenty of joy against a side that have kept the nucleus of the squad from League 1.

Tip: Jarrod Bowen to score anytime – 13/10 with Betfred

Hammers to edge close encounter

West Ham’s only away win this season was by a one-goal margin over Bolton. Proving how tough it is to get a result on the road.

Before the 3-0 loss to Sheffield Utd last weekend, Lincoln haven’t been blown away by anyone at Championship level yet. You could call it an outlier for now.

Losses to the league’s top two in Swansea and Middlesbrough have been by the odd goal, in 2-1 defeats.

A fit and firing West Ham are on that level if not better, so we’re going with a Hammers win by the same scoreline.

Tip: Full time: Lincoln 1-2 West Ham – 13/2 with Sky Bet
