…Says Union Is Avidly Investigating Allegations

The Offa Descendants Union (ODU), led by Alhaji Muhydeen Olaniyi Azeez-Salako, is aware of the ongoing land disputes involving some members of our community and those from the neighbouring community. We recognize that these disputes may understandably cause anxiety and unrest among communities that have coexisted peacefully for centuries.

The ODU wants to assure all parties that we are actively working to resolve this matter. We are continuously engaging in dialogue with relevant stakeholders and authorities to advocate for a fair and peaceful resolution. The ODU firmly believes that dialogue, mutual respect, and collaboration are essential for resolving conflicts and achieving lasting solutions.

It is imperative to avoid spreading unnecessary remarks or rumours that could heighten tensions. Unity and adherence to established processes are crucial at all times.

Land disputes, wherever they occur, require careful consideration and nuanced approaches.
