Kwara State Water Corporation on Saturday said it will shut down the Eastern line (in Ilorin) for some repairs from next Monday, April 15.

This is contained in a statement signed by Engr. Sunday Bamidele, the AGM M&E Dept., on behalf of the corporation’s General Manager.

“This is to inform all consumers that we shall be shutting down Eastern line for repair job on the leakage pipe of High Lift pump no. 5 from Monday 15th of April, hoping to finish on or before Thursday 18th of April, 2024,” according to a statement by Assistant General Manager (Mechanical & Electrical), the statement read.

The statement said the Corporation regrets the inconveniences this temporary shutdown may cause its customers.
