KSrelief Trains More Than 1,000 Gazans in Vocational and Digital Skills Under Economic Empowerment Program

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its efforts to support the Palestinian people in Gaza through impactful initiatives that combine urgent humanitarian relief with long-term economic empowerment.

In its latest initiative, KSrelief launched specialized training programs targeting vulnerable groups and persons with disabilities in Gaza to enhance their professional and digital skills and improve access to employment opportunities.

Vocational and Digital Training for More Than 1,000 Beneficiaries

The project includes a wide range of vocational and digital training programs implemented in partnership with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage.

Training tracks include:

  • Graphic design
  • Digital marketing
  • Translation
  • Freelancing
  • Virtual assistance
  • Remote business management
  • Men’s grooming
  • Women’s beauty services
  • Embroidery, sewing, and handicrafts

The initiative aims to equip beneficiaries with practical knowledge and job-ready skills that can help them secure sustainable sources of income.

130 Hours of Training Across 8 Specialized Tracks

The first phase of the project was launched in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, with representatives from international and UN organizations in attendance.

This phase aims to train more than 1,000 individuals from vulnerable groups and persons with disabilities through approximately 130 hours of specialized training across eight vocational and digital tracks.

Upon completion, participants will receive diploma certificates along with professional toolkits to support their entry into the labor market.

Continued Humanitarian Support Through Shelter and Food Aid

Alongside economic empowerment efforts, KSrelief continues providing critical humanitarian support across Gaza through shelter and food assistance.

A new aid convoy recently arrived carrying tents for families affected by displacement and home destruction.

The tents will be distributed to the most vulnerable families living in shelters and displacement camps under field supervision.

More Than 76,000 Meals Distributed in 3 Days

KSrelief also continues its food assistance operations through its central kitchen in Gaza, providing daily hot meals to vulnerable families.

Recent distribution figures include:

  • 25,000 meals on June 15
  • 25,000 meals on June 16
  • 26,300 meals on June 18

This brings total meal distribution over three reported days to more than 76,000 meals.

Continued Saudi Support for Gaza

These initiatives reflect Saudi Arabia’s comprehensive approach to supporting Gaza by combining immediate humanitarian response with long-term recovery and empowerment programs.

The efforts highlight the Kingdom’s continued commitment to alleviating suffering and helping build a more stable future for vulnerable communities in Gaza.
