Justin Bieber has opened up about the intense emotions he felt during the birth of his son, Jack Blues revealing he clashed with their doula in the delivery room. The 31-year-old singer who welcomed his baby boy with wife Hailey Bieber last August shared the story during a Twitch livestream this week, reflecting on what he described as one of the most emotional moments of his life. According to Justin, things got tense when the medical team assisting Hailey started disagreeing. I remember dealing with, like there was tension, he said. We had a doula and then we had a nurse as well, and the nurse and the doula were really kind of butting heads. Then I was butting heads with the doula, Daily Mail reported. The singer said his emotions were running high, explaining that the situation made Hailey anxious. She was like, You need to apologize to the doula. Just clear the air, he recalled. Justin admitted that he did apologise but felt like his role in the delivery process was being overshadowed. I was just like, Im sorry, my emotions are heightened, but dont take away from my moment either as the dad, I got this too. He went on to explain that he wanted to be fully involved and trusted his instincts as a father. There are times when I need to console Hailey, and I felt like she was pushing me to the side, he added. Its instinctual to be a dad to be there. Hailey had previously revealed to Vogue that her delivery was traumatic, explaining that she had to be induced, went through 18 hours of labour without an epidural, and later suffered a postpartum hemorrhage. That s**t was so crazy. That was not fun, she said at the time. I was bleeding really badly, and people die the thought crosses your mind. The couple welcomed their baby boy, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024, announcing his arrival with a sweet photo of his tiny foot and the caption: WELCOME HOME, JACK BLUES BIEBER . Despite the emotional chaos of the moment, Justin said fatherhood has given him a new perspective. Its one of the most important times of your life, he reflected.
