JUSTICE ITA MBABA NOT UNDER INVESTIGATIONS – EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has dismissed reports going around social media that the Presiding Judge of the Kano Division of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ita Mbaba, is under investigation by its operatives.

The Commission in a Press Statement signed by its Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said its operatives never invaded the house of the Justice located on Sheik Yusuf Adam Game street, off Race Cross Road, Nassarawa Government Reservation Area, Kano.

It adds the visit of its operatives to the house has nothing to do with the Justice but a subsisting case involving the owner of the property.

It adds that all information available to it indicates the Justice is just a tenant and that its case is to verify the property which is of interest in a matter involving the owner.
