Joe Hendry teases WWE main roster call up on NXT TV

Joe Hendry lost the NXT championship to Tony D’Angelo at Stand & Deliver, which both acted as a crowning achievement for The Don, who finally broke through to the top of the developmental promotion after years working there, and a potential bump up for Hendry. WWE has long been enamored with the former TNA star, who caught fire as a meme with a silly act that got over huge elsewhere and then again when he appeared at big shows like Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.

Rumors are flying around about a possible main roster call up and wouldn’t you know it, he seemed to start teasing as much during this week’s episode of NXT television. During his latest concert, he was about to end it with a line about a possible move before Keanu Carver interrupted him:

“The title was my life, it’s a shame that I lost her,
Can I get it back or will I go to the…“

He trailed off because he noticed Carver’s entrance, but you know exactly where he was going with it.
