Jehovah Witness Stole My Youth — Lady Cries Out

A woman who was once a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses has taken to social media to share a deeply personal story about how being part of the religious group affected her life.

In a series of emotional posts on TikTok, the woman explained that after joining the faith, she slowly began to feel that she was not being told the full truth about what life as a Jehovah’s Witness would be like.

She revealed that growing up, she already struggled with an abusive father, which made her vulnerable and eager to find a sense of belonging. However, she says her time in the religious community only added to her emotional struggles rather than easing them.

According to her, the strict lifestyle and expectations made it difficult for her to pursue her personal goals and dreams. She claimed that she often felt restricted, unheard, and unable to live the life she truly wanted.
