Nigerian billionaire and politician Ned Nwoko has stirred reactions online after revealing that he married popular actress Regina Daniels not out of love but due to pressure from his people.

Speaking on social media, Ned disclosed that his decision to marry Regina was influenced by his community’s insistence that he take a wife from his hometown — and Regina happened to fit that description perfectly.

“I married her because she’s from my place, and there was pressure from my people. It wasn’t about love,” he said.

He went on to reveal that he does not believe in dating before marriage, stating that he and Regina tied the knot just three weeks after they met.
