Sadiq Umar celebrated a milestone as Valencia secured a 2-0 victory over local rivals Levante at the Ciutat de València Stadium on Sunday night.

Carlos Corberán’s side achieved the historic feat of claiming a league double over Levante for the first time. Largie Ramazani opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark, giving the visitors the lead.

Sadiq, who came on for Hugo Duro in the 59th minute, sealed the win with a late strike six minutes from time. The goal marked the Nigeria international’s first league goal for Valencia since completing his permanent transfer from Real Sociedad last month.

The striker expressed satisfaction with the team’s overall performance, highlighting the collective effort that secured the victory.
