When our mind is at peace, external influences don't disturb us much. But, when we are not at peace with ourselves, we get easily annoyed over little life situations. 

Most people are in conflict with themselves. This conflict usually happens when we deviate from our path in life, get involved in things that we don't fully agree with or do things that we don't really enjoy. We get easily disturbed when things don't go our way or people don't behave as expected. 

To be at peace with yourself, accept every situation in life with strength. Calm your mind by praying and meditating. Be honest and be true. However difficult a person or situation be, you will never lose your inner peace.
