The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State, Bassey Otu, has won 12 of the 15 local government areas results so far declared last night by the LGA collation officers.

He defeated his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sandy Onor, who won in three local government areas.

Results from the three remaining local government areas, Obanliku, Boki and Akamkpa, were expected as collation was suspended till Monday.
