The 10 days nationwide protests tagged #EndBadGovernance, commenced on Thursday, August 1 2024.

The demonstrations sparked a heated debate on social media, with many criticizing celebrities for not using their platforms to support the movement.

Amid the ongoing clashes between celebrities and netizens’ who question their commitment to advocating for social change, Simi voiced her solidarity with the protesters
