I’d rather win UCL than Ballon d’Or – Pedri

As the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris draws near, Barcelona star Pedri has made it clear he values team glory over individual accolades.

The Spain international, who is among the frontrunners for this year’s award, said he would rather lift the UEFA Champions League with Barcelona than win football’s most prestigious individual prize.

“The Ballon d’Or? I would rather win the Champions League with Barcelona,” Pedri told TouchlineX.

“I never valued individual trophies. What counts for me is my team winning every game and making the fans enjoy and be proud.”

Pedri’s standout performances for Barcelona and Spain over the past year have placed him in contention alongside Ousmane Dembélé, Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappé, Mohamed Salah, Vitinha, and Raphinha.
