And an upset Pochettino described the performance as the worst he had seen since taking charge at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

“It was our worst game of the season. It was tough to be in the stands. We cannot complain about the result,” Pochettino vented to Premier League Productions after full-time.

We did not read the game from the beginning. We did not play how we should play. We showed a lack of intensity and energy.

Chelsea host seventh-place Brighton in their next outing on Sunday, but Pochettino has revealed there will be no time for his players to rest.
