“I produced Excess Love on debt” – Music producer Dr Roy breaks into tears as he calls out gospel singer Mercy Chinwo over unpaid debt (Video)

In a video, a Nigerian music producer known as Dr. Roy becomes emotional as he recounts his experience working with gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.

During his appearance on the audio-visual podcast “The Honest Bunch,” hosted by media personality Nedu and others, Dr. Roy tearfully confronts Mercy Chinwo about an unpaid debt.

Dr. Roy reveals that he used to work tirelessly with Mercy Chinwo, often staying up until 5 am and waking up at 7 am every day without a break.

He claims to have produced several songs for Mercy Chinwo, including “Excess Love,” “Omekannaya,” “Regular,” and “Receive it,” but he has not received payment for his work.

Dr. Roy expresses his deep disappointment and frustration, stating that he had hoped to earn enough to support his family but instead finds himself burdened with unpaid debts.

He noted that there was a time he informed Mercy Chinwo that his father had a stroke and she should assist him but she responded by saying “Make I no worry, he would be fine.”
