I found an old Lush ‘bath melt’ so popped it in for my son’s bath time – then I realised my epic mistake

A MUM has left people in hysterics after recalling her hilarious Lush mistake.

The cosmetics store is known for its bath bombs and shower products, with a huge variety of scents, colours and styles.

And one woman wasn’t sure what to do when she found an old Lush product – so she took to Reddit to ask for advice.

Sharing a picture of the product – silver, in the shape of a crescent moon – she asked: “Found old Lush product- what is it and can I still use it?”

In response, the mum admitted she had thought the moon was a “bath melt”.

“My son found out it was not,” she added, alongside a hilarious picture of her son – who was covered in a silver sheen from top to toe.

The comments section was immediately filled with people left giggling by her mistake, with one writing: “HAHAHAHA this wins the internet today.”

To which another revealed it’s actually a “sparkle jar”.

“Poke holes in the little circles and sprinkle the glitter on yourself,” they added.

“Yeah it’s a sparkle jar! The inside powder absorbed any greasiness from the bar and left glitter,” another said.

“It’s a lotion bar from w”hat I can remember,” a third wrote.

“You can poke through the holes and there’s a glitter dust that you can also put in your skin for a little sparkle,” someone else said.

As another laughed: “Oh I loved this thing tho it was a HUGE MESS.
