“I don’t know what they said I did that’s making them carry my gist around…” – Mohbad ’s father breaks silence over Wunmi’s planceta claims

Oladimeji Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer Mohbad, has responded to allegations made by his son’s wife, Wunmi, that he demanded their grandson’s placenta after he was born.

In a social media post, Aloba vehemently denied the claims, writing:

“God please have mercy on me. They said I asked for the placenta of my own grandson. Doesn’t the son belong to the father? I don’t know what they said I did that they keep talking about me everywhere? May Adabi judge between us.”

Wunmi had made the allegations during a testimony at the Lagos Coroner Inquest, saying that her relationship with Aloba had soured since she refused to give him Liam’s placenta.

She said that she had received advice not to do so, and that Mohbad had supported her decision.

Aloba’s post has sparked a debate on social media, with some people expressing support for him and others questioning his motives. Some people have also raised concerns about the cultural and spiritual implications of the allegations.

It is important to note that these are just allegations, and the father of Mohbad has not been charged with any crime.
