Tinny acknowledged the progress and creativity of young artistes “These young artistes coming up, I see great talents. Before they used to sound like themselves, but now I hear different talents.” He also noted that Ghanaian music continues to thrive internationally. “To my knowledge, when you talk music in Ghana, Ghana is on fire. Our population and what we do, to me, they don’t tally.”

Despite the growth Tinny lamented the fading influence of HipLife.

According to him  “HipLife is dead. I don’t see any upcoming artiste being asked what they do and they say they do HipLife music,” he stated.
