Hasken Lafiagi, Engr. Kale Kawu Facilitates 100KW Hybrid Solar Mini Grid for Lafiagi Community

A new 100KW Hybrid Solar Mini Grid designed to power agricultural clusters and businesses has been commissioned and officially handed over to the people of Lafiagi in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.

the project was facilitated by Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu-Agaka, FNSE, the Dan-Iyan Ilorin Emirate and Hasken Lafiagi Emirate, with the aim of boosting electricity supply which will in turn aid agricultural irrigation and create employment opportunities for the youths and others in the arable and rice-producing region.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Alhaji Alfa Tsonga, former Chairman Edu Local Government Council and other stakeholders hailed the initiative as a milestone for sustainable rural development.

They noted that the solar facility would not only serve thousands of households and enterprises but also stimulate local economic activities.

Community leaders praised Engr. Kale Kawu for his commitment to the growth of Lafiagi, praying to Allah to grant him continued success in his endeavors.
